Savvy

Savvy (Noblecrest Happy Feet of HoKy)is our first "little dog". He was named after tap dancer Savion Glover (who did the dance sequences for the animated film "Happy Feet") because he moves his feet around like a wild man and he's marked like the pengiuns in the movie.

Savvy the toy weighs more than you do!

He is a little fireball. He was bred by Sandra Huddleston, but he came to us from Sherri Tulloh and we can't thank her enough for matching us up with him at the perfect time. We have high hopes for this guy (a Yogi grandson) in the show ring, his first venture into the ring was at the Sunflower Cluster in Wichita, KS 4/2007. After a 12 hour overnight drive he stepped into the ring like a pro on Friday morning and took reserve to a major. We also hope to eventually have success with him on the coursing field, he has done 2 short practice runs so far and he loves to chase the "bunny".

He does have his restful moments. Usually basking in the sun is one of the few pasttimes where he will actually hold still.

Savvy & Harry

He is always ready to go if someone will play with him. Harry usually just lays in the grass and lets Savvy crawl all over him because Savvy can actually run both of the Ibizans into the ground if we let him.

Thumper and baby Savvy

This was taken just a few days after we got him and although it makes him look like a little pirahna is just is a perfect picture. He is not afraid of anything or anyone. He loves everybody and once he's worn out (which takes a LOT) he's content just to curl up and be close to you (under the covers is even better)! He gives the cats a wide berth (unless they are running and then he loves to give chase). He pretty much has both the Ibizan hounds whipped and jumps on them, over them, and runs through their legs if they're not moving fast enough for his taste!
